The Bad Touch

So, I lost my job this week. It's really weird... I always thought I was too much of a peon to ever get laid off. I never really liked my job (in banking... gag!) so it's not a huge loss, but this was my only grownup job. I've worked there since I was 19, and my ten year anniversary would have been in May.



It's not all bad, though. I'm getting a decent severance package, so now I'll finally be able to go to school and finish my B.A. in English. And now I'll have plenty of time to work on my fic for the Hermione Big Bang!   

Wow... it's been forever since I had an LJ account. It'll be good for me if I can manage to keep up with it this time, I think.

So, for a while now I've been wanting to try my hand at writing instead of lurking around and reading other people's stuff, and this Hermione Big Bang thing I've been looking into seems like the perfect place to start. Wish me luck!
